Robert Henschel is Director of Research Software and Solutions at Indiana University. He is responsible for providing advanced scientific applications to researchers at Indiana University and national partners as well as providing support for computational research to the IU School of Medicine. He has a strong commitment to broadening access to HPC systems and shortening time to science for as many research teams as possible. Henschel serves as the chair of the Standard Performance Evaluation Corporation (SPEC) High Performance Group and in this role leads the development of production quality benchmarks for HPC systems. He also serves as the treasurer of the OpenACC organization. Scot Schultz is an HPC technology specialist with a focus on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning systems. Schultz has a broad knowledge in operating systems, AI frameworks, high speed interconnects and processor technologies. Prior to joining the Mellanox family in 2013, his responsibilities included various engineering and leadership roles in high performance computing, including strategic HPC technology ecosystem enablement. Scot has been instrumental with the growth and development of numerous industry-standards organizations including the Open Fabrics Alliance, a founding member of the HPC-AI Advisory Council, OpenPOWER Foundation and many others. Gerardo Cisneros-Stoianowski is a member of the Mexican Academy of Sciences and the American Physical Society, and a Life Senior Member of the IEEE and the IEEE Computer Society. He was a Research Professor at the IPN and a Research Professor at the Institute of Sciences of the Autonomous University of Puebla (Mexico). Later, he held Applications Scientist, Principal Systems Engineer and Member of the Technical Staff positions successively at SGI. He is listed as a contributor to the NWChem computational chemistry application. Gerardo Cisneros-Stoianowski is author or co-author of over 40 papers on applications of computing to solid-state physics and quantum chemistry, and on programming languages for symbolic manipulation.
